3 Reasons Why I use Weebly with my Clients

There are some web designers out there who may put up their nose to a fellow designer using Weebly for their client's websites.

However, I am not using Weebly to "cheat" the system, I'm using it because that is what most of my clients need.
Digital Entrance is based out of Cadillac, MI.  Cadillac is a small town in Northern Michigan with a lot of business owners and creative entreprenures.  However, a large majority of these owners still believe they can get away with "everyone knows who we are and what we do."
That is what I want to conquer.

The notion that you will get business just because you're you. Now that may have worked 20 years ago but with the rise of the internet, and the power it has over consumers, just being "you" no longer works.

You need to be "Google-able," have a website to preview your products/ services, and a brand identity that sticks out among the crowd.

And this is why I use Weebly, to bridge that gap.

1. Weebly is User Friendly

My goal when creating a website is to give independence to the business owner. Therefore, since most business owners have no idea how to code, I use Weebly.

Drag & Drop

Weebly's drag and drop technology is incredibly easy to use and everybody has the ability to learn how to drag and drop on a computer.

Even your Grandma! Take a look at the interface (at this very moment!):

To add an element to your design, just drag and drop it onto your web page! It's that easy and that is why I love it.  Most business owners don't want to spend hours trying to figure out how to add a picture to their blog post or how to change a date on their homepage.

Weebly makes it simple, and I make Weebly simple and giving owners training and tool to learn the platform!

Community Support

Weebly has a great support community that anyone can post to and ask for help.  Weebly staff and design specialists frequent the forum and give fantastic advice.

If you ever find yourself stuck, need advice, or would like some design input the support community is a great place to go!

2. Weebly is Inexpensive

Most small business owners work with tight budgets and can't spend $5,000 on a design. Especially if they can't edit it themselves after and have to continue paying a design fee.

Instead, I aim to teach business owners how to run maintenance on their website so there is no reoccurring fee. Additionally, because I am not coding from scratch I can finish a web design in half the time which means the website become more affordable.

If you are looking for a website quote, contact me here.

After initial webdesign fees are payed, annual fees are as low as $4 a month to maintain a weebly website.  Each business is different and Weebly has a package for everyone!

3. Weebly has an App Suite

Due to Weebly's commitment to simplicity, there are some design limitations.  Therefore, the solution comes in the form of the App Center.

There are dozens of free apps that can be integrated into your web page to enhance the design, usability, or functionality of your website.

Although not all of them are free, you can find great add-on's to make your website POP and flow exactly how you want it!
